Art Decade’s debut LP, Western Sunrise released May 29
Eldest Only Recordings announces the release of Art Decade’s debut LP, Western Sunrise.
Recorded and mixed by Atlanta’s production duo Dan Hannon & Brad Fisher, known as Eldest Only Productions, Art Decade’s Western Sunrise was released 5/29 via Eldest Only Recordings with distribution through RedEye.
Lead singer Ben Talmi’s talent caught producer Dan Hannon’s ear almost immediately. Hannon said of Talmi, former RO student .. “After hearing the home recordings that Ben self-produced,” says Hannon, “I was convinced that he and the band had tremendous potential, and decided to help develop the project.” Hannon quickly put him to work arranging strings for several tracks on Manchester Orchestra’s third album for Columbia Records, called Simple Math, including the first single–the album’s title track. Talmi has also arranged horn parts for the band Phosphorescent for their appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.
The Video for the title track from Art Decade’s debut record Western Sunrise has garnered the attention of mashable.com, attracted 70,000 plus views on Youtube, and was developed principally through the use of an iPad 2. Past success of Art Decade includes the licensing of “Weapon” to GoPro cameras for use in advertisement.
