Rock On rolls out some Country Music

The RockOn Band made a great showing at the First Annual Berkshire Country Fest last weekend. With Dylan Waterhouse, Dan White Vocals. Zach Sears- lead guitar, Nate Sears- Bass, Justin Geyer-Keys, Matt Geyer -acoustic Guitar. They permformed some country tunes and spun a couple of rock songs into a country groove. This Friday at 10:00pm, RockOn faculty Dan Broad and Kali Baba McConnell join the Rev, Tor Krautter, for some good times and great music @ the Milltown in downtown Dalton, MA.

A little further out but definitely worth the trip, catch Johnny Winter at Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton.

Johnny Winter is known for his southern blues and rock and roll style.. In 2003 Winter was ranked 74th in Rolling Stone magazine list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time“.  If blues is your passion, then this is a must see.

Out of NYC, the Kennedy’s are a folk rock duo, with Maura Kennedy – vocals/guitar; Pete Kennedy – guitar/vocals. Their award winning music fits in with ease at the ‘church’ – the Guthrie Center (the nucleus of the Alice’s Restaurant song and movie).
