Andy Kelly is one of the founding faculty members of the Rock On workshop. He’s been the director of jazz education at Rock On since its inception. He has demonstrated and taught American jazz music around the country, performing in dozens of schools in both the U.S. and Europe. Andy has toured Italy and Ireland four times with the Sister City Music Ambassadors and most recently finished a very well-received concert with the Berkshire Jazz All Stars. Teaching and touring may be a couple of Andy’s strong points, but according to him the real bread and butter of music is its ability to bridge cultural gaps and to promote understandings between people near and far.
