Rock On Faculty – Ted Pierce


Ted Pierce was born in Hollywood, California. He began playing violin at the age of 8 and guitar at the age of 12. By age 19 he led his first band in England and has appeared to millions on television in England, Germany and Russia.

Ted has played with the likes of Jackson Browne, Joe Walsh and Jim Messina to name just a few. He has also led Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie tribute bands and arranged over 120 Beatles songs for solo guitar. He has written hundreds of songs including songs for Cyndi Lauper, Kenny Loggins and Kenny Rodgers.

Mr. Pierce is currently recording Circle of IV, an album of 12 original
compositions, one in each of the letter keys. He will be teaching songwriting, arranging and guitar at Rock On.
